I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all of my followers here on DeviantArt.

The kind words, critiques and favorites over the years have helped to keep me striving to take better photos. I therefore would like to kindly ask all of my friends and here on D.A followers for their further support!

As some may have noticed, I am currently trying to build up my following on FaceBook. If possible I would love for all my fans and friends here on DeviantArt to further support my work and visit, like and share my Facebook Page. If people could also pass the link to my Facebook Page. to their friends as well it would help no end.

As I'm not a professional photographer and make no money from it, its hard for me to spread awareness of my works online as I cannot justify spending money for online ads, and SEO can only do so much. I also cannot keep updating various online galleries as its becoming very time consuming. Currently I run my own website, a Facebook Page, a Flickr Gallery, Twitter, DevaintArt and 500px. As you can guess its very time consuming to keep them all updated regularly. I would much rather have a central place for people to come and visit for regular updates and other information.

My only option therefore is asking for support from communities like the wonderful people here on DeviantArt for their help to spread word of my photographic works.

If everyone reading this that like my work could visit, like and share my Facebook Page I'd be extremely grateful for their support.

And please don't forget to post comments or post any questions or suggestions you have on my Facebook Page whilst you're there!

Wow! Its been a VERY long time since I made a journal post here on D.A. Its been a long time since I was actually out with my camera to - at least it was until I started heading out again a couple of weeks ago.
Three hectic years saw my hobbies relegated to the back bench as I was consumed by work and other events that were going on - but never again! I'm back!

So what's new?

I've made a vow to improve on my landscape photography and have been out and about scouting new locations regardless of the weather forcast which is new for me. Due to the distance factor and having to start work at 9 - this time of the year I usually only return to my usual haunts that I know I'm all but guaranteed a decent shot.

I've also just sold some of my kit and replaced it with a Nikon D810 and Nikkor 17-35mm f/4. Must say I'm in love with the new body, (altough 36MP is overkill by a long way). As for the lens I love it but not quite as much as the Nikkor 17-55mm f2.8 DX lens I parted with. I'm also missing my Sigma 10-20mm but both are useless lens on an FX body. Sure I could use DX mode as I do for wildlife work, but then it would be pointless in owning an FX body.

Finally - I've reasserted my dedication to my website and Facebook page.

I'm redeveloping my Photography Prints website, updating my Facebook page more frequently.

If possible I would love for all my fans and friends here on DeviantArt to visit my Facebook page and show their support by liking and sharing.

Well I supposed I'd better get on with some work - theres coding to do!

Hi guys

I presently have 5 images entered into the Marwell Wildlife Photography competition for 2011, and this year thye are running a Peoples Choice Award. All entries for the competition are currently up on Flickr at

In an attempt to gain Marwell and the competition some exposure, I thought I would post this journal entry and ask my supporters with Flickr accounts to take the time to browse the competition entries and 'Vote' for images they like and deem worthy of the peoples choice award.  Theres some great entries in there. In order to vote, simply 'Favorite' an image from the competition pool.

For reference, my own 5 entries are currently on the TWELFTH page. I originally submitted 5 entries back in Feb but I realised two days ago that the entries were not valid as they were not taken within the last 12 months. (I don't remember seeing that clause in the rules when I originally submitted them but hey ho). I therefore alerted Marwell to the problem and for my honesty they allowed me to submit 5 replacement images.

Please do not feel that any of you have to vote on my entries, but any support is greatly appreciated.

Hi guys.

I need your help! I need to select FIVE images to enter into an upcoming wildlife photography competition. I have selected 20 of my personal fave shots from my archives and now need help dwindling it down to FIVE entries.

If people could download, view and comment with FIVE suggestions from the contact sheet in my gallery I would be grateful.
