Description
This is one of the rock groynes at Keyhaven. I went there for sunset this evening despite the fact there is little to actually compose a shot with on this side of the spit at sunset. Just to the left in the distance you can see 'The Needles' at the end of the Isle of Wight.
I got a set of Lee ND Hard Grad filters (so I now have both hard and soft sets to work with) and was trying them out here.
On this shot I stacked an ND 0.9 Soft to darken the water, whilst a hard ND 0.6 and 0.9 were used to hold back the sky and give me a longer shutter time.
Nikon D300, Nikon 17-55mm f2.8G, Remote Shutter, Hotshoe Spirit Leven and Manfrotto 055PRO-B tripod. I forget which model Manfrotto head I have but its a heavy duty 3 way head
