Not a fantastic shot but my first ever successful lightning shot. (We don't get many storms and this is the first decent one in 5 years here!). Despite an hour of lightning with no rain, This was the only shot I captured.

Trying to compose in the pitch black from a car in the New Forest is extremely hard, especially when the storm is rolling around over the open plains that surround you.

Typically I managed to cock this up without checking my ISO. DOH! oh well. until the next storm!

Mate the lightning was around for over an hour with NO RAIN WHATSO EVER!! I stayed in the car though and picked a really stupid position. Right in the middle of the forest so it was so unpredictable as to where it would strike. Will know better next time... five years from now...
