My only complaint with this photo, is really minor, and just my OCDness, but I wish you had taken one step to your right so the bridge would have been centered a little better in the frame... or maybe cropped it a little bit differently. The sides of the bridge (where we can no longer see the water) meet the edge of the frame at different heights.
Despite that though, it's a truly stupendous image! Very moving, and very interesting. What lens was this, that you managed 10mm? Do you have the Sigma 10-20mm?
I know what you mean about centering. I fall down on that point every time on that jetty. It always looks centered till I get it home. Its a bit of a problem that jetty because its not straight - its got bends in it.
your photos are always so emotive and evocative
also the contrast between the the green and the pale pink really works well together
