Micheldever Woods by Neutron2K Micheldever Woods by Neutron2K
Micheldever Woods, Hampshire UK - covered with bluebells.

Not the most technically accurate shot but i'll reshoot it somtime this week providing the light looks to be nice and when I can concentrate more.

I used to live in Whitchurch when I was very young and we would always come here to see the bluebells.

Thankyou for reminding me of this beautiful place.

Nice shot Justin, but maybe the flowers are a little bit pink?

There's quite a few shots i have seen of this woodland shot like this at sunset and I think it makes it more important to pay attention to details. I think one thing you may be guilty of here is over filtering.

Very beautiful. Here in the States I haven't seen a forest with a flower undergrowth like in the picture. I would love to visit a place like that in the future.

why do you think so?

I was slightly off the hyperfocal point and also I think the tripod must of moved ever so slightly during the exposure as the images is no where near as sharp as it should be. Also I havn't been bothered to fix the burning of the sky to the left of the image with a merge from a braketed shot.

I'll retake it next year :)

But still beautifull ^^

their bluebells. Their the key feature of this particular wood - many photographers flock to these woods when the bluebells come out. Their a rare species.

Just not happy with it. I think the tripod moved slightly during exposure as its not razor sharp which is the first problem with it.

Second of all - the skys too harsh to the left in the background. I bracketed but at the moment I just don't have the energy to sit on this bloody computer to correct it with a merged shot.

I think it might just be me being too ';professional' with looking at my own work. I'm seeing flaws all over the place rather than just enjoying the scene etc.
