A small pond next door to Hatchets Pond in The New Forest just as the sun starts making its way higher into the sky, vanquishing the pre-dawn / sunrise red and purple tones from the sky.

The boat isn't usually here and I don't think it will be here very long before someone pulls it out.

I donned my wellies this morning and waded out into this little pond to get this shot.
