Kestral

FINALLY - a wild kestral hovering in search of prey to dive on.

Not the best of shots but given the low light I'm quite happy with it taken during the golden hour of the morning.

I wanted to get some even closer shots and I sat and waited for this bird to come back around as it was covering a VERY large field and was following some sort of pattern.

However every time it came back over head of me someone with a dog would walk under it and scare it off.

Really aggrivated at that but I know where to find this chap now so I will be out looking for it on wednesday if the weather is nice. I might even try and bait it onto a post or somthing.
