I hope it was worth 190 faves lol, i'd say it is. I collect and raise live pheasants, but at the moment I only have these breeds: Silver pair, 1 Red Golden rooster, 6 Lady Amherst pheasant chicks. I just started this year, pheasants can make a lot of money if you sell breeds like the: Himalayan Monal, Tragopans, peacock, Argus, and the Eared.

Beautiful! After all these years i've lived in pheasant country Ive never managed to get one clear, crisp photo of one like this! You truly captured the beauty and elegance of this bird.

thanks :) Its all down to patience, quiet stalking / crawling and finding somthing to hide in/behind :) Just persevere. Birds are a pain to work with and usually you come back empty handed. Its the odd trip that pays off that makes it worth while.

yeah their hard buggers to work with. you really need to take your time and a low approach (camando crawling) to get near them.
